When was the cure for pneumonia discovered?!
Question: There is no cure for pneumonia. Pneumonia can be due to bacteria, virus or even aspiration pneumonia (usually in the elderly or those with dysphagia). There is now a pneumonia shot that is available to the elderly and it is suggested that they get it starting around age 65 (I believe) however just like the flu shot, it only protects against certain strains of the pneumonia. It's still no absolute guarantee of NO pneumonia. Don't know who discovered the vaccine though, sorry

there is no 'cure' for it. you need to take antibotics to 'cure' it. plus depends on what it causing it..either viral or biotic.
this is the only question of pnemonia i could come across.. and i am soo scared because i think i have pnemonia because ive had a virus for a while =[ =[ =[ sorry its not the answer but i just had to let it out.. im sooo worried
