Do you think I got HIV?!
Question: I have not had sex (of any kind), not had a blood transfusion, and also not done drugs. I have tested negative 3 times, due to an obsession with the virus.
I work in a library, so there is no risk of work exposure. So, do you think there is any conceivable way I could have HIV or should be concerned about getting it provided I continue avoiding the "risky behaviors"?

HIV is a SEXUALLY transmitted disease, it can also be transmitted by sharing hypodermic needles with someone infected. There really isn't any risk in what you describe. Suggest that your obsession is unhealthy and you might benefit from some mental health counselling.
Does your mom have it? That's the only way that I know of that you could get it is if you were born with it.

Sounds like you're a hypochondriac! If you haven't been exposed to any of the common ways of contracting the disease, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Definitely use a condom during sex and/or have your partner tested even before you consider getting into bed with that person. The other methods of transmission are less likely in normal everyday situations.
