No, it's not just you. Give yourself some credit! You've been through a HUGE ordeal! No only have you drained every ounce of strength out of your body, but you've drained your emotional reserves as well. You're body is slowly trying to regain some grasp on normal life. This is completely normal. if you think about it, you arent the same person you were before your cancer. you are different. Your looks will return, but there will always be something inside of you that has been affected by this. This new thing IS NOT A BAD THING!!!! The trick is to not mourn the loss of the old you, but to incorporate this experience into a new, better you. You will take your new experience and apply it to the real world! Please understand that this lost feeling will pass. You should be very proud of yourself. Take some time to pamper yourself. Do things that make you feel good. You deserve every moment!!!!! If you need to talk, feel free to email me!!

Sweetie, this is so normal it's not even funny. You're going to feel this way for awhile, too. If you haven't gotten therapy and medication for the depression yet, get some right away!
This is a great loss you need to mourn and deal with.

Everything will work out in the end, you just need to give yourself lots of TLC and TIME.

read the book by Norman Cousins.......he had incurable cancer and got slapstick movies and laughed himself to 99% cured. Cheer up Laughter is like a medicine
Anatomy of an Illness by Norman Cousins

It's very normal to feel depressed. You've had a life altering experience. I'm going through chemo and had to shave my head too. I doubt I'll feel like the same person until my hair grows back and even then I'm not sure.
Just remember that you beat it and that's a great thing.
