Question: My friend gave oral to some guy.. It was her first time and she thinks it was his. Now like a month and a half later after shes been staying up really late like very night and been out in the cold past 3 nights her voice is gone. It sounds like she is sick or something, but she says she feels fine just really tired. Could this be a sign of an STD? She is really afriad I just tell her if she gets sleep shell be fine in a few days

She has a cold.
There are no STD's with cold or flu like symptoms.
A cold sore and genital herpes are two completely different viruses.
She probably just has a cold. If she is not better within a week or she develops a fever, she should go to her doctor.
Remind your friend to have the guy wear a condom when she is performing oral sex. STDs can be transmitted through oral sex -- even if they are both virgins, a cold sore can become genital herpes!
