Though results always differ with skin types, I have a type that is oily in some spots and dry in some spots, and I could give you my experience.

When I started Proactive, I saw great results within the first 2 weeks with little drying. I continued using it for a few years. As time went on, my acne was becoming more severe, and Proactive wasn't helping, so I had to try new things.

I used Clearasil Ultra, which caused major dryness (nothing a little moisturizer couldn't heal) but did pretty well with removing acne. After about 2 weeks, my pimples were small, and some would flake away on contact.

My best product, though, was one called "Spot Remover" from a company called "Origins." After using this for only 3 days, my acne had noticeably reduced in number and size.

Overall, ProActive will work--for a while. It may cause some dryness, but nothing major, and breakouts may continue before it starts to work entirely.

yea itll get your face dry in the beginning, ive been using it for years now and people noticed the difference within a few weeks. it worked for me but it doesnt work for everyone. i use it everyday but if it gets too dry just use it every other day.

See, that is too general of a question. There are various skin-types and such things react differently.
In a general context, if u have sensitive skin (like me) it would dry your face up so use it every other day or every three. With my sister (normal skin), she started seeing results the second time she tried it and major results came in about a week/ week and a half.

i got the 3 step process on christmas and i am seeing great results with no drying....my mom also ordered the moisterizer as well....i us that ever other day.
