There is no "right" amount of blood to be a virgin. Virginity is not dependent on your hymen. A virgin is someone who has never had sexual intercourse- until a penis goes up your vagina, you are a virgin. Hymens can be broken at any stage in your life through physical activity, or you can be born with a thinner/smaller hymen, or your boyfriend may just not be very well endowed so he didn't damage the hymen. Tell your boyfriend to grow up and educate him (and yourself) about the meaning of the word virgin and about hymens.

some people dont even bleed at all. your hymen can be broken before sex too!

You were a virgin and now your not. You boyfriend is an idiot. Every girl has a different hymen... therefore different amounts of blood.

he's stupid. dont ever listen to men!

If his penis is thick and long, and he is rough during intercourse, u tend to bleed more during your first time.

Some virgin girls will not bleed, because they are born with out the virgin membrane.

U tends to bleed a little, is very normal, as virgin membrane is only a thin layer of membrane. Or I think your bf is gentle during intercourse time.

What? Are you serious? Who told your boyfriend that? To be honest that's sick! Unless it's like, rough sex in a tight vagina with a hymen then it should only bleed a tiny bit, if at all! I didn't bleed when I lost my virginity!
People usually bleed because they have a hymen, but some people are born without one, or have broken it from sports such as horseriding or gymnastics, through masterbation, or maybe even from an accident. Also, some people just don't pour with blood when they are cut!

Tell your boyfriend to trust you, after all that is what relationships are about right? And tell him to do his research.
I think some guys say that their girlfriends bled tons because they think it means that they have huge penises, and you know what guys when it comes to their cocks. After what people say, he probably expected you to flood the place, the silly boy!

So, don't worry okay!

All women are different some bleed alot and some not at all tell him to do his research on women!

if he does not believe you then he is not worth being with. Sorry you gave your "special gift" to a jerk like that. Not all girls have their hymen intact when they have sex the first time. so you did not bleed, so what. That does not prove anything. You could have broke your hymen years ago from playing sports or riding a bike. Also if you still had your hymen when he went inside of you and he was small or gentle going inside of you, it is possible you bleed, just not all over the sheets like he thought you should have.
Either way, you are not a virgin anymore and it is ashame you gave a jerk like that your cherry.

How would a teenage boy know what is meant to happen to YOUR body!!!!!

Don't listen to guys when it comes to yoru body, every one is very different in looks, shape, size, men and women.

You are totally normal.

Not every virgin bleeds the first time. Geez.

The hymen breaking is what causes that bleeding. It is a little piece of tissue not too far in the vagina, that whenever penetrated by whatever object is up there is big enough to tear it, can bleed.

However, it can be thinned out or even broken through certain physical activities (horse back riding for instance) or maybe you just had a thin one.

You really need to educate yourself about sex. You need to read up on sexual protection (albeit safe sex is not 100% safe, it's safer than nothing though) and how to use it properly.

ur period

You could have popped it with a tampon

some people bleed alot and some a little and now and then some may not, but as long as you know that you were a virgin that is all that matters

You don't have to have alot of blood when you first have sex. Everybody is different in many ways. When I first had sex I didn't bleed but for ten minutes. If you felt really strong pains in your lower stomach like a period than you have lost your virginity.
