My chest is tight and I keep feeling a fluttery sensation...its scary- HELP?!

Question: For the past few days I have this weird fluttery, hard to breathe sensation in my chest that last for a few seconds and goes away. I feel one right after another, but then sometimes 5 hours without any feeing. I had bronchitis around Thanksgiving and my sinuses have been plugged up ever since then. I feel dizzy and out of it today. I quit smoking last month when I had bronchtitis. I have been smoking for about 5 years off and on. I am 25. Any suggestions? IT is scaring the cr@p out of me. I have been looking it up and I am seeing things for empyshema and heart problems...I have enough anxiety. I don't need more, but this is very stressful!

It sounds like anxiety or panic attacks to me. I suffer from the same thing.
Talk to your health care provider. There are mild medications that can help.

If you are a teen or young adult...talk to a trusted friend about your stressful situations. Sometimes getting the weight of the world off your chest makes a world of difference. Good luck!

Try a low fat diet.
