if you think its bacterial, wash your eyes with ice cold water. it helps relieve the pain as well as the swelling. make sure your eyes are wide open when you wash it so that the water can clean it thoroughly. ive had so many cases of bacterial sore eyes and that had only been my remedy for years. it worked for me. if its viral, then go see an opthalmologist.
