my husband was diagnosed less than a year ago with diabetes- and we went to a resort that had natural mineral hot springs, and he has the lowest blood sugar while we were there. Actually wen too low one day. We were wishing we lived there.

People with breathing disorders, heart or blood pressure problems, or susceptible for blood clots should avoid hot tubs and hot springs.

So obviously, it depends on the diabetic individual and and the temperature involved!

Most people with type 2 diabetes (like you) with adult onset, usually have other health problems (including those in my first paragraph), perhaps the result of over weight.

If I am right, that you are fat and perhaps not so healthy over-all, it was still just a guess on my part.

You must consult your doctor. Since we are in Canada, with "universal health care" cost is not an issue. Go see a physician...don't trust us Yahoos to diagnose you.

wait- hot water makes your blood sugar low?

no comprehendo.
