Okay i think i have strep throat but im not sure please help?!
Question: okay my throat hurts alot and everytime i swallow it feels like someone decided to stab my tonsils...ok i took a flash light and i see like weird gross kinda big white spots on my tonsils and also i noticed that one tonsil hurts worse than the other...first i thought it was a cold b.c. i def have a cold but this pain is not normal...does that sound like strep to you??? please help and any home remedies for sore throats would be awesome! thanks!

White spots on the tonsils is one of the signs of strep throat infection. This can only be treated with prescription antibiotics so get yourself to the doctor for a throat culture.

The only way of knowing for sure is to go to the dr. and they do a throat culture. They swab your throat. Then give antibiotics if so and sometimes if it's just questionable they will give it to anyway if it seems bad enough. Hope you feel better soon!
Yes, it could be strep. You have to get to a doctor and get tested to find out. Because if it is strep, you need treatment. There are no home remedies for strep. You need antibiotics. Strep is very dangerous if left untreated.
