Stretch marks?? WHAT?!

Question: I have a problem! I have stretch marks on the side of my thighs. It looks somewhat like discoloration and I don't know how I got them but I've always had them. I never had kids and is only in my early 20's! I have not severely overweight and have not been real big in my life. How did I get them? And how can I get rid of them?

I also have stretch marks on my thighs. No kids, no huge weight loss/gain, etc. I did, however, lose about 20 lbs a few years ago after high school. According to my dr, even a small amount of weight loss can cause them. Muscle gain or loss can cause them as well.

There's no way to get rid of them, but you can buy a cream to make them fade. I don't know if it's permanent or not, though. Ask at the pharmacy counter - I think it's called moderma, but there's more than one brand.

i also am kind of thin and a healthy weight for my height, and i have some stretch marks on the upper thigh/buttox region. i'm only 18. you aren't alone with the mystery stretch marks.

Um, you don't have to be severly overweight to have stretch marks. Even if you are only a few pounds overweight or if you lost/gained weight back and forth you can get them too. Try creams, but I don't know if they work.

most people and even kids, have them from quick growth spurts. it's very common, so i wouldn't worry about it.
