My Daughter has the same thing. You can use Claritin or reactine which are over the counter antihistamines that are non drowsy. Benadryl for a over sever reaction.

Check with your Doctor my daughter takes Zaditen 2 mg twice day. This is a prescription medication. She does keep her reactions in check. We also use the reactine if she forgets to keep covered up.

You need to keep the areas of skin that can be come cold covered. So for example always wear socks or slippers in the house. In winter keep skin well covered. In summer be very careful jump into a cold swimming pool, lake, etc. You need to slowly adjust your body to the lower water temp.

You should be assess by your doctor or a specialist.

Below are some websites that may give you some more information!

Over the counter Benadryl and keep yourself warm are the only things you can do...also check with your MD or PA to make sure there is nothing underlying, although most of the time there is not.

I have this too, and I find that it gets worse when my skin is dry. Try using a moisturizer..... Isnt it weird telling people youre allergic to the cold?
