Do I have a very mild skin condition?!

Question: It's so mild I've never really thought about it until I linked these few things together recently. On my cheeks, the bottom of my cheek are slightly bumpy, and these bumps seem to go red at times (I think they react to temperature). I have the same thing on my upper arms, they've been very bumpy for as long as I can remember. And lastly, about once every 1/2 months, I get a mild itchy rash in my jaw area, kinda under my chin and where the bumps are on my cheeks.

It's not a life ruiner I just wondered, is this some sort of mild skin condition? Will it get worse?

I think these are probably two different things. The first reply seems correct - my brother has the same thing you're describing and you can use hydrocortisone cream (from any drug store) to help with redness or itchiness.

The rash you get every so often under your jaw line may actually be an allergic reaction to some sort of food. You may want to get that checked out. My boyfriend is very slightly allergic to bananas and gets that whenever he eats something with banana in it.

I have these bumps all over my upper arm and when I scratch them it starts to flake and the bumps breaks open with nothing in them... (sometimes a hair follicle comes out) what can I do to get rid of them? I've had them ever since I was 9.

A:
These are normal sebaceous skin structures, and there is nothing you can really do to get rid of them except expensive and questionable derm-abrasion procedures done for cosmetic reasons only. You should avoid scratching or irritating them because they are apt to become infected and it can create scarring. If you are itchy in the area, apply hydrocortisone cream to help.

This is what I found on the Internet. I have the same bumps on my upper arms and my daughter does too, so I thought they were pretty normal to have.

Could be ezcema. Skin problem that is very itchy and produces rashes. My daughter will break out if she sweats too much. Best thing to do is moisturize with a sensitive skin moisturizor and to use hydro cortizone creme when really itchy. You could also take an anti-histamine to reduce itchiness.
