Does anyone else take levothyroxine?!

Question: I have been taking this medication for about 5 weeks now, for the last 3 or 4 days about half hour after I take it I feel very anxious and a bit odd. The feeling goes away after about an hour or so. Has anyone else experienced this? My doctor is not open Fridays, I am going to call Monday. I just wondered if it was normal when first beginning to take this med. Like I say the feeling only lasts about and hour or two after I take my pill. Thanks

I've been on it for a good five years now, and that's never happened to me. I stared at 50micrograms and went uo to 175 and now I'm down to 125.

Maybe its 's not the right dosage for you. to high or low, now thst your thryroid has been regulated.

Are you taking it on an empty stomach? You need to take it an hour before eating, or two hours after. That is very important. Also, could it be interfereing your other meds? Try taking the synthroid (levothyroxine is the generic of synthroid) when you first wake up, then in an hour, eat something and tke the rest of your pills.

I'm sorry I haven't been much help, but if you are taking it correctly then I would definatley call you doc on monday.

Maybe u are worried about ur disease condition, and so u are having these symptoms i presume.

No need to worrry by these symptoms. The dose is 25 to 200 microgram per day to be taken early morning.

Just relax and u will feel better.

best of luck.
