Right eye looks a tiny bit more forward than the left.?!

Question: Iam under alot of stress at the time and I think its effecting my health. It all started when my home burned down and had a new son who needed surgery about 6 months ago. First my stomach was all messed up had daily nausea and lost alot of weight, had every test and two docs said it was stress related. Still have stomach problems, and now have head problems. Its mostly on the right side. Have headaches mild not to bad, but now I get little pressure under my right eye which isnt very bad eithier, but I notice it. Sometimes when I look in the mirror my right eye looks a tiny bit more forward than the left. Sometimes I feel off balance and have been spitting up mucus for awhile(I smoke tho). Mom says eye looks fine and says it my anxiety, which is bad too. Another thing is my clench my jaw often. Could this all be stress? I always worrie the worst and hate it it drives me crazy. Sometimes both eyes look the same,. Any help, thank you very much. Iam a 19 year old male

Definately stress, stress can rip you apart on the inside, and don't let people tell you 'everyone goes through stress, get over it', because yeah, everyone does, but it's WAY harder on some people.

Also sounds like a little OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). Maybe go to the doctor and tell them. The eye thing could be a lazy eye.

The best, BEST thing to do it try to make it in to the doctor and tell them everything you just told us.

Good luck, i'm in it for ya!

P.S. When the doctors tell you it's stress, ask them what to do about it. I got tired of the run-around and new pills so I went to a counselor. It really helped! Ask to be refered!

I think you are hallucinating.

that's freakin awful. you lost your house?! i'm sorry i don't know what's wrong w/ you, but from experience if you are stressed out, don't worry about something like this. i know it sounds impossible, but the more you worry, the worse it gets. so by worrying that something is bad you insure that it turns out that way. i can only suggest that i would definitely see a doctor.

I hadn't heard of the eye thing before, but I know that clenching your jaw certainly is a sign of stress (if you wake up with sore jaws, you know you've been doing it in your sleep).

If you can, see a therapist...the sooner the better. If not for you, do it for your kid.

There could be a vision problem. You should have a professional eye exam.
