If you really want some expert advice and proven medicine, go see a dermatologist. They can give you medicines you can't get a hold of over the counter, and they can give you anti-biotics too. If you don't want to try one, try this product: http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsDetail...

If you have oily skin, try a liquid called sea breeze. You put some cotton balls in a ziplock bag and squirt seabreeze on them. Throughout the day, if you ever feel your skin is getting oily, wipe your face with a cotton ball. This stuff is pretty cheap, is a good anti-septic, and its gentle on your skin (if you have very sensitive skin get the blue one).. Use this WITH your acne medicine, it's not a replacement for the medicine.

ProActiv is awesome!

buy that proactive stuff, i heard it works. A little pricey though.

Clean & Clear Kit...I used Proactiv and it did nothing for me but dry my skin out.

Or have your dermatologist prescribe Benzoyl Peroxide

I had tried Proactiv, yet Murad has worked for me the best.

the best thing to use is tea tree products they are more sensitive on the skin and knider to use

you get pots because you have greasy skin.to clear it you need to dry out your face.soap works brill!it cleared my spots!

Proactiv. I'm sure you've seen infomercials for it. I used it when I was younger and it was just coming out and not popular yet- it works wonders! My skin was completely clear in two weeks and I haven't had acne since then.

Also, make sure you use the lotion/moisturizer on your skin if it's sensitive because it can dry it out if not.

I'm not sure why people are getting thumbs down considering everyone's skin type is different so different products will work for different people. Geez- rude people.

it depends on your skin type. i used proactiv and it did the same thing to my skin (dry and flaky). you my just have to shop around until you find one that works. also you can ask a dermatologist depending on how bad the acne is, you may be able to get a prescription.

St ives Scrub, but i you have sensitive skin go with the St Ives Sensitive apricot Scrub. It will help you alot

First of all, i advise you to use NATURAL products which are organic and gentle for the skin. when you have acne, the skin become more irritable and sensitive. A very natural way of maintaining healthy skin is, to eat dark chocolate (evnthou its a bit bitter...its tasty---trust me!) this dark chocolate should be included in ur diet alot as dark chocolate is lower in fat, healthier ofr heart and skin as it has a higher concentration of cocoa!! (How cool is that!?)
Make sure you wash your face 3-5 times a day. every time you wash your face pat it dry but then, get a slight rough dry towl and rub it gently over the acne. this helps gently exfoliate skin and get rid of acne marks.
If you do this for a month (depending on the seriousness of the acne) your acne should dissapear completely.

Enjoy ur new revitalized skin!

This is a good home remedy because it is all natural. You should get some tea tree oil and put it only on your pimples and etc. It will work best with a cotton swab. Also, washing your face and drinking lots of water will help too.

you have to keep using for a while...but clean and clear may not be the best product for your skin type, so i'd suggest you to go see your dermatologist and he could prescribe you some acne medicine for your skin type

You can't always chose the products out there, you should try finding out what's best for you... for example, you may have dry or oily skin...and the product you're using does not focus on your skin type

good luck

wash your face often with medicated soap with lukewarm water. Apply face pack based on clay or sandalwood powder. Both are equally good for pimple prone skin.Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .
