Surviving parvo?!

Question: A dog I recently got was diagnosed with parvo :(

It's been a nightmare these past days. It's been near 72 hours since his first symptoms started. He managed to eat a little bit a little while ago "such a welcome sight". I fed him cooked rice and small amounts of boiled chicken. He seemed to be himself again :) :)

When he was first diagnosed on Thursday, he wasn't eating ANYTHING :( I was giving him fluids "a recipe my Vet gave me" hourly.

From reading all I can on parvo, it seems if they can make it through the first 48 to 72 hours, they will make it?!

I hope this is true, I love my lil' guy. Please anyone that reads this keep Jumper in your prayers, thank you!

And, one thing I learned from this the hard way, is make sure all pets you get are up to date on their shots!
