What do chicken pox look like in the early stages?!

Question: My 21 month old daughter has what looks like pimples on her back and legs and inner thigh. About 11 spots. I have looked on the net and most of the pics look like blisters. If it is chicken pox how long do they last and is there medication I have to get for her or do they just go away. Its been so many years since I had them I don't remember. Can I wait til Monday to take her to the doctor? Or should I take her to the walk in clinic or ER tomorrow? She is not running a fever or showing any signs of being sick other than the spots. My other 2 kids don't have anything on them.Any advice would be helpful!!

They do start off as red dots with a blister head. often times they break out in the warmer areas of the body, the diaper area, under arms, head, chest and back. Taking her to the Dr's isn't going to do any good except confirm it is chick pox. most Dr's don't even want to see the child as she is contagious and will spread the germ to other people in the office. She is contagious 48 hours or so before the first pox appears and while she is breaking out and until they start to scab over. So basically close to a week. She will continue to break out for 2-3 days if she does have them. Putting her in a warm bath will make them pop out sooner. There is no cure for them, you can just try to ease her discomfort. I use to freeze sponges or wash clothes in a zip lock bag and apply to the areas that itched the most. My kids all had them when they were little. Glad we got that over with before school age! Out of curiosity, I thought there was an immunization avlb that Dr's were recommending. my youngest are 15 and it was not avbl when they were little.

lots of little red bumps....
