Question on Chemo and sterility for boys.?!

Question: Just wanted to hear from any males who underwent chemo and if it left you sterile.

I'm particularly curious to know if you underwent a short term of chemo as a child if there is any chance you may not be totally sterile?

Anyone with personal experience or medical experience I'd appreciate some feedback.

My husband's cousin had Lymphoma(Hodgkin's disease) he is now 45 when he married it took him about 13years to become a dad, they said it was a miracle since this was something that should of not happened. However he did have a lot of problems his wife had many many miscarrages throughout their marriage, i guess in fact there might me a chance that it depends on your treatment and type of cancer.

My son has been on chemo drugs for 10 years due to autoimmune disease. Chemo can damage the testes, decrease the sperm count.... It depends on the drug dosage, treatment duration, etc. Some men regain their ability to have children, but it is very slow. Others it is permanent.
