How can i help my insomnia?!

Wake up early and stay active like working or doing some type of labor to get on a set time frame, have a problem of going to sleep to late and waking up late. You might wanna try to stay off the net or watchinf tv at a certain time....Drink and eat less sugar and caffine as well...

Man i have the same problem, if you get any ideas let me know.

Getting off the computer would be a good start.

wake up early in the morning
eat yogurt before bed

get off the computer and go to bed
turn off all the lights tv radio and anything distracting what time would you like to be in bed by and go an extra half hour earlier before you get tired and lay there relax and think about sleep no caffeine or nicotine for a few hours before bed a light snack about an hour before bed so you wont be hungry sit in the quiet to relax before going to bed without a lot of activity so you have time to wind down

i have battled insomnia for the last 11 years and recently started taking medication for it... a simple way is to TURN OFF the computer... that helped a lot... relax early.... have a good meal... take a bath... no tv... do some breathin exercises to quiet the self chatter... dark room... or soft music... get in the bed early enough to get quality sleep.. i only take the medication when all these have not worked which means I have to get off the computer at a resonable time like 8... good luck...
