What is the difference between std,hiv and aids?!

Question: plssssss answer this

Answers: plssssss answer this

Ok no matter what others are telling you here it is, an STD is a disease like gonorhea, or herpes, or hiv, or any "sexually transmitted diseases". Thats where STD comes from, it's any disease that you can get while sexually active, some can be cured and some can't. HIV is the human immunodeficiency virus that if left untreated causes AIDS. HIV is the first step to getting AIDS, you can treat HIV to prevent it to spreading to AIDS but there is no cure for either one. HIV you can get in more ways than just being sexual with someone that has it. You can also get by sharing needles with someone, or if you have an open wound and someone with HIV is bleeding and their blood gets in your open wound you could get it that way also. Also if your a RN or a PD and someone has it and you get poked with a needle that they have used or you used on them that would also cause it. Then AIDS is just HIV after it has gone untreated and AIDS is very bad and can kill you if left untreated. I know so much because I used to work in an occupation where we dealt with alot of STD infected people. Hope that I could be of some help to you. Don't have unprotected sex and don't use drugs and you should be fine.

STD can be cured. There is no cure for HIV and AIDS.

most sexually transimitted diseases have cures (not herpes)

hiv is uncurable their are just drugs to prolong the disease from turning into full blow aids

hiv wont kill you. its aids that does

some stds can be cured but since hiv/aids can be sexually transmitted i think i would conisder it an std as well.

STD are any and all Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

HIV & AIDS are STDs

HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. If you have AIDS you contracted HIV in the past. If you have HIV you do not necessairly have AIDS. AIDS is an auto-immune disease triggered by HIV.

STD - Sexual Transmitted Disease. There are many different types of STDs. HIV is one of them. Others include HPV (Genital Warts), Chlamydia, Genital Herpes, etc.

HIV: Is called Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This Virus is a sexually transmitted disease. It can also be transmitted through needles, blood tranfusions (although now very rare), almost any bodily secretion (aside from tears, saliva). It is the Virus that causes AIDs. As this virus reproduces, it damages the body's immune system and the body becomes susceptible to illness and infection.

AIDs: You cannot get AIDs from anyone. Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or AIDS, is a condition that describes an advanced state of HIV infection. You can be diagnosed with AIDs once :

- There is a significant decrease in your CD4 cells
- Several different types of infections - you can find them here: http://aids.about.com/od/themostcommonqu...

if you don't know the answer to this, i hope you are not having unprotected sex...
