Is it normal to feel sad?!


Question: my doctor took me out of work because of my health. im kinda sad because i miss working and im worried about how long its gonna take me to recover . i am haing promblems with my socoloics is making my back hurt everyday. my doctor gonna send me to therapy and to a specailist .

Of course it is normal. Just try to look on the bright side and don't let yourself spiral down into depression.....Hey, anytime you feel a little sad, just go to youtube and watch the "funny babies" videos. If they don't make you laugh and feel better for a little while, then you should seek help... Good Luck!!

Its normal to feel sad when events mess with your life. Its also normal for some people to slip into depression when they are sad; however, even though this may be normal, its not necessarily something you should ignore. Just like its normal to bleed if you get cut, this doesn't mean you don't need treatment for the wound. If you feel that the sadness or worrying is too much or that it might be holding you back, then it would be a good idea to talk to the doc about trying an antidepressant. Many times people need to try several different antidepressants before finding one that works. You can quit taking it if it doesn't help, so there no harm in trying.

Barring any problems or a history of matters such as depression or anxiety,everyone can experience moments of (the blues),yes it's normal.
