Yeah, I've walked in your shoes. My best guess is that it's anxiety based on what I'm hearing. I've had the same types of symptoms: feeling off balance, having stomach/digestion problems, getting the shakes, letting random fears control me, and getting nervous over certain situations. Many times too, I felt like I had a tumor because of headaches. Nevertheless, just thinking I had a tumor made me panic (a typical anxiety response). Anyhow, I went to the nearby hospital and had a brain scan and the doctors found nothing. My anxiety was relieved temporarily because I knew I didn't have a tumor. Nevertheless, 2 months later I started getting stomach pains. So, I got fearful again (a typical response by someone suffering from anxiety). I began to think that I had an ulcer. I went to get that checked and realize that there was no ulcer. Who knows if this is the case with you? However, for your own sanity go and have it checked. If you do notice that your body continues to feel off balance and you remain nauseous, my hunch tells me that you have anxiety issues like so many other folks like yourself. Hang in there. One thing I have found out about anxiety is that it always seems to pass. The key is just knowing that you have it and then you can find ways to cope with it. I hope this is helpful.

why would you think it is a brain tumor? Do you have headaches?

Im sure its anxiety. Anxiety does ALL those things to you!!

Take a deep breath!

More likely than not, its the anxiety. Anxiety can give you all sorts of symptoms, along with thinking everything you feel is something more serious than it is, and will kill you. You could also have an ear infection or something of that sort.

ask the doctor to test you for cellular ataxia it is a part of the brain which controls your balance and coordination dint worry its not fatal or anything my mother and sister and a few cousins have it , it is a usually past down the family but has only been looking into in the last couple of years, my sister has to do exercises to help her balance , but it is very rare

We always seem to think the worse, don't we? Especially when things are going bad.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I understand the feeling about the dizziness, and have experienced it, myself. Sometimes I think sinus trouble can lead to inner ear trouble, and that can cause the imbalance at times. But if it becomes constant, surely your doctor can help you, right?

Good luck and God bless you and your family at this time.
May better times be right ahead.

Don't assume anything until the doctor gives you a diagnosis. If you have had two doctors tell you the same thing, you might want to get another opinion.
Have you had inner ear problems? You might want to get that checked out too. Inner ear problems can throw you off balance and upset your stomach.
Anxiety is awful (speaking from experience, i have had anxiety for about 10 years), and can make you paranoid about your health. But worrying will only make it worse. So, relax.
If you are really concerned that you might have a brain tumor, talk to your doctor about referring you to a specialist.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck!
