You did nothing to be so much worried. urinary infections can come from many sources, even swiming in a pool. But when they appear you should act quickly as possible or else you let many worse things happen, such as giving time to the infection to become more strong and tollerate to treatments, let it spread to upper tract such as your bladder and much worsen your kidneys. You may also lose your sexual potency as well.
But it is also possible that there is no infection at all. Other usual problems such as bladder stones, or small bump of tissues in the urinary tract can cause similar pain, and of course they cause no fever. Even in this case, you urgently need a proffesional service. You did nothing to have bladder stones!
Go to your parents and easily tell theme what you feel. If you critisize yourself for nothing, then expect others to do it more.

Here's a good place to start. And if you're sexually active you might wanna look back and see where you were a few months ago. AND GO TO A DOCTOR BONEHEAD!

You do not need a fever to be diagnosed with a UTI.
There is no reason to be embarrassed to tell your parents. I'm sure they want what is best for you and will take you to the doctor (it is likely that one of your parents has experienced this as it is not uncommon). If you feel uncomfortable you can tell your parents a different reason for why you need to visit the doc.

Good luck!
