Accuracy in 1st Prenatal Exam Testing?!

Question: Serious and Well-Informed Answers Please :)
With my first child in 2005, I had the typical first prenatal exam testing done (including sti/std testing) and everything was fine.
With my current pregnancy I had the testing done again in Nov.2007, with the same results that I was negative for all sti/std's and my pap was normal.
They did NAAT testing, which was DNA PCR testing for my sti/std and from what I found out they are very accurate, especially when using these recently for the advanced std testing. Even my doctor told me it was very reliable and accurate - yet I can't seem to wrap my brain around that.
I have no symptoms of any std/sti and I haven't had sexually relations since August when I got pregnant. (Husband doesn't believe in sex while pregnant - yes, I'm cool with it.) My doctor did say she saw signs of a yeast infection but wasn't concerned. I dont want to keep bothering my doctor on this; as I said, she is very confident of my tests - yet, am I just being paranoid?

What's the issue, the yeast infection? Those happen on their own, especially during pregnancy. Some bacterial infections, while being sexually transmittable, can develop on their own as well. If your tests came up clean, then you have nothing to worry about, honest. Is there a reason you think you may have something, other than nerves? OK, I see what you added. Pregnancy is stressful all on its own. Don't worry yourself over it. Enjoy the pregnancy!

ADD: Thanks, lol. If you have a family history of depression and start to think you might be getting it, talk to your ob/gyn. It may put you at higher risk for PostPartum Depression. Just give them a heads up so they can catch it!!
