I have a desperate need for an medical question?!
Question: ANY SUGGESTIONS! and hard Honest answers please. I have worked so much ,long,atempts. I have extreme treatment resistant depression. Along with that it causes horrible headaces.My insurance company could care less. I have completed all the material medical needs and mailed them in to the company for clinical trials. I am taking Actique 600mcg every 6-8hrs. for pain. I received a telephone call from the representative from the Pa. hospital that one of the criteria is no narcotics more than five days weekly and that I live near the hospital. I would be living with my cousin in Reading,PA, no problem there. The medication is the issue and there are no trials after Jan. I am taking the narcotics for h/a from the depression and no antidepressants work. Dont tell me there are so many out there, Nothing has helped. Even ects. Is there any hope to get off these STRONG narcotics to have even a glimmer of hope to get off this s###! in a short amount of time I feel like my life is over&Sucks!

You have three choices; (1) stop the narcotics and enter the drug trial; (2) skip the drug trial; or (3) find a doctor that can properly diagnose your headaches, treat the headache cause, and then enter the trial. See if you can find an expert that specializes in headaches - fly across the country if you have to..
Drug trials are necessarily a good thing - some of the patients get placebos, and you have no way of knowing whether you got a placebo or the real thing.
maybe you dont have depression? compile a list of everything wrong... from sec, min, hour, day, week, month. including things that sometimes come up...
get blood work done and a MRI...
good luck; sounds to me as if to find the area to seek help is / /why the depression? Pills sounds like are adding to the problem..Sorry but I no shrink but have had like problems ,Problems are usually, sometimes., solved by "talking them out "with a pro?. as probably you have sought? A good source sometimes is opening up the ,bible, or a man of the cloth? you are in a deep hole and if medical solutions not working out, it hopefully will be worth time spent searching that angle ?Have been there with the drugs and withdraw-ling from them is tough but can be done.. reading
