They would probably do a rectal exam to check for hemmorhoids, they'll probably want a stool sample... and if they can't figure out what's wrong, they'll want to do a colonoscopy.

symptoms and analysis would reveal it as many question should be asked about exact colour dark red or red or coffee like and how much and how many times and is there vomiting or infection ......etc so you should see a doc
