How can I get someones fever down without medicine. They have a fever of 100!?!

Fevers are actually good - when not above 102... It's the body's way of killing off the harmful viruses and bacteria inside our bodies... While a fever signals to us that a battle might be going on in the body, the fever is fighting for the person, not against...

However if the person is feeling extreme discomfort with the fever it is best to try and lower it.. here are some ways to help try and lower the temp without medication:

Give the person plenty to drink to prevent dehydration (not enough fluid in the body) and help the body cool itself.

Keep the person still and quiet.

Keep the room temperature at about 70
