Diarrhea acne connection?!

Question: i generally avoid dairy because it seems to cause acne. recently i ate an entire pizza (throughout the course of a day) that had been left out. it gave me terrible diarrhea, but i noticed that the next couple of days instead of breaking out as expected, my acne cleared up. i once took an acne pill that gave me horrible diarrhea and the doctor said it was because it killed both the bacteria that cause acne as well as digestive bacteria in my stomach. my question is for anyone else whose diet impacts their complexion noticeably. do you have any insights for me? are these acne bacteria originating in my stomach? if so, should i kill them by eating old dairy? im not getting anything on google, but some experts dont realize that not all human bodies work exactly the same.

I doubt that the acne bacteria are originating in your stomach. There would be no way for them to get from your stomach to your skin. Antibiotics kill many kinds of bacteria, so when you took antibiotics before, it killed both the stomach and the skin bacteria, but they weren't necessarily the same kind. I have no idea why your acne cleared up after eating the pizza but I think it might have been a coincidence. I would also point out that you can get diarrhea for more reasons than just that your stomach bacteria have been killed. Eating a large amount of greasy food (such as an entire pizza), for example, would give many people diarrhea.
