Uterine Cancer?!
Question: they found a tumor the size of a grape fruit in my moms uterus they have not done a hysterectomy because it has attached to the colon...does anyone know anything about this i just found out and i have no idea how bad this is....? How can I find out what stage she is in if we won't get tests back until tommorow?

Best wait and be patient.
Today radiologists have become very proficient at diagnosing cancer (down to tissue type at times) .
So hopefully by tomorrow you'll have news more firmly based on reality.
At times you can have benign tumors and endometriosis attach themselves to colon and other organs. So doesn't always mean cancer.

I am sorry to hear that. Really there is no way to tell what stage it is until you have the tests back. Some cancers are big but relatively mild, others are small but very aggressive. I wish you the best.
My mother had several polyps removed from her uterus several years ago, some the size of grapefruits, and she was cancer free. I think these things just grow for unknown reasons and once removed there is no more pain and to more worries. Good luck and hang in there!
