Mother in law experiencing hallucinations?!
Question: My husband is my mother in laws primary carer. She is in her 70's and has lung and liver cancer which cannot be treated. More recently she has been experiencing regular hallucinations. Can anyone offer any meaningful advice on how to handle this situation?

It could possibly be side effects from medication. It could also be just aging. I work in a hospital on a Nuerological unit and we see that a lot here. It could just be the aging process and have nothing to do with the medication or cancer. Just be patient with her and understanding. I know how hard it is and good luck.
Could be medication...but could be something entirely different...Could be dementia...or beginning of Alzheimer's..or Sun downer syndrome...Plenty of info on Internet about this...talk to your health care provider...Prayers are with you and your family. God Bless...
