What is a dangerous level of blood sugar?!

Question: A low blood sugar level is much more dangerous because it can very quickly lead to coma and death. High blood sugar has all of the disease implications of diabetes and is very harmful but not so dangerous. The levels can vary quite a bit by individual. For example if you remember the public service announcement by Patti LaBelle says that she had a level of 800 when she passed out on stage. That was the first she knew that she was diabetic. That level is extremely high.

If your fasting (at least 8 hours before you last ate) blood level is between about 120 and 125 mg/dl, you're considered pre-diabetic. If your fasting blood sugar level is consistently over 125, you may be diabetic. If, at any time, your blood sugar level gets to 600 or above, you're in serious trouble.

I am considered to have an impaired fasting glucose at 100. I am also insulin resistance and being considered a prediabetic cause of family history.

Anything over 200.

To be more correct less than 70 is dangerous and above 250 is dangerous because the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis.

Normal blood glucose level is 70-110 mg\dL. However, glucose levels can rise above that.

If blood glucose test was done after eating and the results were more than 140mg\dL but less than 200mg\dL, then this person is considered prediabetic. post-prandial blood glucose test above 200mg\dL is considered diabetes. glucose starts to appear in urine above 350mg\dL.

if ur glucose level (post-prandial) (after eating) is more than 200mg\dL then try to do fasting blood glucose test.
