Can a new asthma inhaler give you hiccups?!

Question: I'm not to sure if it's your new inhaler but I've had asthma for 25 years and that's happened to me a few times.

same thing with me..Ive had asthma for 16 years and i've had the hiccups a few times after i've taken an inhaler..i have the albuteral..but now there is that new environmentally friendly one that doesnt work as well...I dont like it very much..

I've never had this happen to me and I've had asthma for 20 years. It may be the connection between your lungs and the disorder of the diaphragm at the time. I guess in theory if you're really in distress, it could affect the proper movement of the diaphragm and cause hiccups.
