Strep Throat and High fever, Please help?!
Question: Ok, so I have step throat and high fever. I don't have the luxury of affording medical care at the moment.. I was reffered to a neighborhood medicine expert,

I was perscribed a yellow and brown capsule with "RX655" Printed on the pill, I have been taking one every six hours.. My question is; Can I mix Fever medicine with this pill. And am I taking amoxillin? how long will it take to cure my strp throat and fever? Help I already missed two days of work...

Yes, that is amoxicillin; 500mg cap. Usually, you are prescribed Amoxicillin for something like 10 days.... take for all days even when you feel better. For mild/moderate infections, take 500mg every 12 hrs; for severe infections, take 500mg every 8hrs. What kind of "Fever meds" are you taking? I am looking for more info on strep throat & illness duration, and looking up med interactions with each other. I'll get back to you in a few minutes.
