Please I ned help from cardio experts?!

Question: Hi, I am 16 years old. I think something is wrong with my heart! My pulse rate is 60. I feel dizzy atleast once a week. And sometimes I hear my heart make that noise your stomach makes when you are hungry. Like grrr. I am really worried. I will go to the cardiologist within next week but before that I want someone to please tel me what this could be a sign of. I think it is bradycardia (slow heart rate) because of the reasons I mentioned earlier and also I can't maintain an erection. Thanks in advance.

Your very young, and young peeps always have a slow pulse, are you eating properly, maybe the noise you hear is secondary to the signs of hunger.
Bradycardia is indeed a slow heart rate.....Too much knowledge is a bad thing.
Dizzy ? maybe due to not eating (see above)
@ 16years your body is still being educated, relax you, stop scaring the hell out of yourself and don't carry on beating up. No significant signs Hun.

The normal heart rate is 60-100, so you aren't suffering from bradycardia unless it drops below that, and even then that is not necessarily a bad thing-athletes typically have a slow pulse because their hearts are strong. You mentioned being able to hear your heart make noise-as in a heart murmur. This would be highly unusual (but not impossible) without a stethoscope. A heart murmur is caused by one of the heart valves not working properly and letting blood leak backwards during a heart beat. This could be the cause of your fainting spells, though usually your heart would beat faster to make up for some of the blood leaking. Not being able to maintain an erection can also be a sign of heart (and thus circulation) problems, but also be aware that there are other causes for both, such as dehydration. You are doing the right thing by seeing a cardiologist.
