What can I (we) do to find a cure for Cancer?!
Question: It seems like everyone in the world is effected by this disease. What can be done to find a cure? It doesn't seem like donating to the American Cancer Society is enough. What else can I contribute toward this cause?

You must be a very special person to care so much. My husband passed away almost 2 years ago from brain and lung cancer. The American Cancer Society does help but one of the best charaties to give to and help is the Damon Runyon Cancer Fund because all of the money goes to research and helping those with cancer. Stay involved and keep reading articles about this disease and help anyone that you know who has cancer.

the pharmaceutical companies would never allow that to happen,they want first to find a remedy not a cure,that is whats taking so long....there is no money in it for them to cure something!
You can donate your computer time to help research cancer cures. there is a program called SETI@Home that used to be only for looking for extraterrestrial radio signals. Now they are using it for many things, including searching for a cure for cancer. It uses your computer during periods where your computer is doing nothing. Cancer is a result, not an intentional affliction. We know that it is caused by infection, infection, infection. Primitive man did not have this; in fact, primitive man did not have cavities, diabetes, etc. Our genetics have not changed more than 0.1% in the last 12,000 years. If you look at the statistics, they bare out some very interesting truths that many so called "experts" would like to ignore. What changed? Not our genetics. The food industry that includes the way we farm, prepare our foods, and the very nature of what we eat today.
Dr. Weston A. Price, D.D.S. was a very bright guy that took a look at his practice and noticed that people were getting more cavities over a 15 year period and he wondered why. When all his peers were looking at "scientific studies" generated by corporations with a profit agenda, he decided to find out why anthropologically primitive man did not get cavities. He spent about 5 years of his life in the early to mid 30's traveling around the world examining, photographing, taking food samples, blood samples, and studying primitive people and comparing the primitive people that had converted to a modern diet from those cultures. What he found was quite amazing and even surprised him.
His book, "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" is a very detailed account of those travels to 100's of cultures all over the world. It basically turns upside down many of the things the so called "food experts" of today are promoting. It has made me believe that they are just "hired guns" of the food industry that is focused on profits, not health.
Price found, to his great disappointment that NO Vegan type cultures generated healthy people. That in many cases, like the Eskimos, Aberigenes in Australia, the Massai Tribes in Africa had diets with little fruits and vegetables and high in Animal fats and wild fish. Cultures that did have fruits and vegetables had lots of fermenting going on, Animals grazing on rich fertile soils with grass that was highly mineralized. The fish came from the sea, wild. Many of the villages, like those in Switzerland and the Gaelics had no doctors because they didn't need them.
Rather than looking for a CURE for cancer, we should be spending the money being wasted on that to develop foods that are healthy and diets that generate strong, healthy bodies. One billion dollars has been donated to "Jerry's Kid's." Have they found a magic drug or cure for that yet? No. Imagine what a billion dollars would do if it were spent on developing farms that did not require chemicals. Just imagine how much money we would save on health care.

Does this sound like we are going down a road to health? We now rank 24th in the world for longevity. 23 countries in the world have people that live longer than Americans. 1 in 7 women now get breast cancer. I do not believe the American Cancer Society is doing a very good job. The rest of the world is rejecting the genetically engineered foods because they are looking at the problems from them. Companies like Monsanto are creating foods that are generating many allergies and diseases, but no one in the U.S. can know it is coming from them because the FDA has declared the food as SAFE and NO labeling is required as it is in the rest of the world. CANCER: There's a new Swedish study which shows that human breast milk kills cancer. On the news this guy who drank human breast milk (with a prescription) beat cancer. It was discovered by Swedish scientists that human breast milk (spilled into a petri dish) kills cancer. People who drink it have had some success in fighting off cancer.
You need a prescription and it's about $3 an ounce at a breast milk bank, but it works.

It's the lost war, but no discourage any effort, so pls ask more people to join the team, because cancer maybe hit a person or all before he or she can find the cure.
