Can anyone suggest any shoes for a diabetic person?!
Question: My grandpa has diabetes but he lives in Mexico so you know that medical care over there is not as good as here in the U.S. so I'm looking for some good shoes but I have no knowledge about it. Can you help me please?

lots of people wear wide toed athletic shoes. It is important mostly that the shoes fit very well and have plenty of space in the toe part for toes to wiggle without rubbing on the shoe.
Good socks too! there are socks made specially for diabetics. they are wider in the foot so they don't bind.
A friend of mine swears by Asics brand athletic shoes.
And be a sweety and send him some really good lotion to put on his feet. We tend to have very dry skin and it does crack and get infected sometimes. A good moisturizing lotion or cream will keep his feet especially happy.
