Lumps on my son's neck?!

Question: A couple of days ago, my husband and I noticed two lumps on the back of my three year old's neck. We've asked him if it hurts when we touch them. He said no. We've watched his actions and behaviors, especifically for any changes. There have been no changes to his every day behaviro. These lumps appeared about the same time we adopted a cat. Can there be a connection?

are they large?
i'd check with a doctor.
i got a cat from rspca that had been a stray
and even though they vacinate
my son lost a patch of hair and needed medication.

I'd get it checked sooner rather than later.

It is probably a cyst. Go to a doctor and get a biopsy. This is serious, and I don;t think it has to do anything with the cat.

Are they movable or firmly attached to underlying tissue? If they are hard and non-movable I would get my child to the doctor ASAP. If they are mobile and soft to rubbery, I would wait about a week to see if they change at all. If there is no change or they enlarge, I'd get to the doc.
