Wash your hands and groin area notices will be the next logical step then

Probably

Picture yourself on an escalator in a department store on a busy afternoon. There will probably be the best part of 100 people on it. At least 78-90% of them will have MRSA and not know it. That is because MRSA is NOT a problem to a healthy human being.
MRSA only becomes a problem, when it gets into an open wound. It causes all sorts of complications and serious illness.
In ordinary circumstances MRSA is NOT a problem, so don't worry.

It can be transmitted by by getting into breaks in the skin and getting into the bloodstream. That is why handwashing is important. And, this is why it occurs a lot in hospitals.. It is unlikely (but nothing is impossible) to be transmitted through sex.

MRSA is just another staphylococcus, it just happens to be antibiotic resistant, mainly thanks to overuse by doctors, vets and farmers. Staphylococcus is not spread sexually. Hand washing is because the bug is picked up from either other people or inanimate objects by touch contact. It is then passed on in the same way, so the more frequently you wash your hands, the more likely you are to wash it off.

The answer to this is yes u can because u are not just touchin one area r u ??? and Q2 yes i clean everytime i use the loo ................................. ps i am a carer so know the dangers of X infection and contamination

Listen to Robin- he's talking sense.

You'd be most likely to catch MRSA after you are admitted into hospital.

My father in law caught MRSA in Hospital, and for good measure they managed to infect him with Cdiff also!

He died in June 2007, prior to entering hospital, he had neither MRSA, or C diff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of education do you people have nowadays. Even if you are not that bright you must have picked up from the press what MRSA is!!!!! NO you can't catch it from having sex and yes good handwashing techniques can help to erradicate it. So why do we swab the throat, nose, axilla and groin areas of patients. Who swabs the nurses who are in contact with MRSA every day?????? Most people coming into hospitals from the community carry the MRSA bug!!!!
