The spot will feel warmer than the rest of the leg and may be slightly discolored.

Leg Blood Clot Symptoms
Symptoms occur in the affected leg when a clot obstructs blood flow and causes inflammation. Symptoms may include the following:

1-Swelling
2-Gradual onset of pain
3-Redness
4-Warm to touch
5-Worsening leg pain when bending the foot
6-Leg cramps, especially at night
7-Bluish or whitish discoloration of skin

Almost 30-50% of individuals have no complaints.

A classic telltale sign is the sharp pains and temperature, but really you can't be sure. It is absolutely necessary to see a doctor immediately if you feel as though this may be present. A clot can become loose and cause further complications such as a pulmonary embolism. It is best to have these things resolved at onset to ensure a speedy and complication free recovery. Best of luck.
