I was just wondering if you ever found anything out. I have had the same prob elem for approximately 2 years now. At first I had no weight loss, but I have started losing weight. They removed my gall bladder in July of 06 but that didn't help for long. They have prescribed anti nausea meds, but it only makes me sleep and with a 6 month old that just does not work. My sister did have this problem - slightly different than mine, and hers WAS her endometriosis. It was growing in her abdominal cavity and causing blood to pool which in turn caused the colon to spasm whenever she ate and it would immediately come out one end or the other. She lost about 18 lbs in a month. They finally did surgery and removed the endometriosis and now she is on a special birth control pill to help with that. I have it too, but it never got that severe on me.
Anyway - dont know if that helped or not, let me know if you find anything out.

Seeing your doctor was good but you need to stay on top of this for them to do the proper tests. The throwing up and pain is a concern as you may have some sort of intestinal problem. Watch for weight loss, loose bowel movements, loss of appetite, etc. and definitely seek medical tests in these fields. You could also be working yourself up as these could be signs of stress or a bug :)

Well, if your on any new medications that has them side effects, or you could have a tape worm (prolly not, but ya never know) or you could just have a really bad flu.

It sounds like you have a bowel obstruction or else you have chronic constipation. When things get backed up, there is no place for the food to go except back out the way it came. If it turns out to be chronic constipation, you can increase fruits and fiber in your diet. Also, increase your fluid intake. Sometimes a bulk forming laxative like Metamucil will help add the needed fiber. Stool softeners like Colace can help move things along. There are also bowel motility enhancers on the market that help keep the food moving the right direction. Reglan is the most common. Small doses of erythromycin have been used too. This is an antibiotic but it is a bowel stimulator. I have used it in the hospital for patients who are impacted. You may have a polyp or diverticule that can be removed with an endoscopy or colonoscopy procedure. The best thing though is to continue to work with your doctor to determine the actual cause. It is very important that you get the answers soon before any complications arise.
