Are there still lead pencils in usa that can poison our children?!

I am not sure about laws for them but to the best of my knowledge almost all of them are made from graphite these days. The only real lead containing pincials out there are specialty ones for artist. I was stabbed with a pencils about 8 years ago and the graphite is still in my hand and the doctors weren't worried about it at all.
Do not worry. Pencils used by school children are graphite, not lead. They have been graphite since I was a kid...a looooong time ago.
pencils have always been graphite,it's a myth about lead!
