How can eating out be made fun when you have a nut allergy?!


Question: My partner has a nut allergy and we live in bedfordshire. Anyone know any good indian or chinese restaraunts locally that could safely support a nut allergy?

I don't live near there, but I can say that most of those places use nut oil. I have very bad nut alllergies and can't even be in those places too long. I would make those foods. It could be really good, and a fun way to have an indoor date. Look up the recipes online, and see what you can make! I too miss Chinese places, but it's a great way to still eat it, but know it's safe!
If you want, you can call those places and tell them you need to know.If they aren't sure,don't mess with it!

Well now, to make it fun you could order a number of different dishes and see which ones make him throw up first, kinda like russian roulette but with food.

Or try eating out without him.

no but i do know that peanut oil does not cause a reaction in most individuals because of the way it is processed.

just tell the waiter that you have a nut allergy, and tell him to tell the chef to be careful as this may be serious, and tell him as to avoid contamination with nut and to avoid using them or washhis hands. if you go to mc donalds it would be ok
