Does MS only attack the Central Nervous System?!

Question: I have been diagnosed with Sensory Neuropathy with no explination for its cause. I was wondering if Musltiple Sclerosis only attacks the central nervous system or does it also attack the peripheral nervous system as well?

MS is a central nervous system disease. It does not involve the peripheral nerves.
