What is a gasping productive cough?!
Question: ..they are treating me for asthma. I doubt it's asthma. The meds don't work.
I've got two inhalers and singulaire pills.....
And a horribly productive cough. But my chest feels like I swallowed powder.

Do you smoke if so that's alot to do with it if you don't u probally have something like asthma or a lung infection if the inhalers are working keep using them and make periodic visits to your MD OK good luck to you.
