Sounds like hemorrhoids to me. They are often like blood blisters located inside your rectum. If the blood is only on the outside of the stool and not throughout this could be it. Blood throughout the stool would show something more serious from within like ulcerated colitis or ruptures. Hemorrhoids can cause cramps. Stress and having a very acidic pH can set them off, not always being active. Diet plays an inportant roe in this case. Google or check webmd.com If following directions to the sugegsted forms of alternative treatment do not bring you immediate satisfaction, esp. change in diet, and bleeding continues, please seek advice from your physician. Best of luck to you!

There are a number of things that could cause them, ranging from minor tears in your rectum to a number of more serious problems. Talk to a doctor.

If you're straining to poo it could be a small tear in your colon, anus, or rectum causing these blood clots. Keep a close eye on it. If it's ALOT of blood go to the doctor immediately if not eat more fibre so your pooz isn't as tough to push out. You should never have to push extremely hard to take a crap, it strains your bowels and could give you hemrhoids

Go to the doctors as soon as possible and speak to them. Any bleeding like that should be sorted out immediately. It could just be piles but get it checked. Good luck

Causes are many, hemorrhoids
or tumor in your intestines usually the large intestines
or just a Polyps.
could be an ulcer, is the blood dark or bright red
I would call your Dr first thing in the am
to get to the bottom of this asap
good luck

Polyps, you must bite the bullet and have some tests done, this can be quite serious, and for your own peace of mind its important to know rather than live with fear.
The longer you wait the worse your chances are, it could be cancer as I'm sure you are aware, and, frankly, the embarrassment is not worth dying for.
Like my mother in law did.

If it is fresh, red/dark red, and on the outside of the stools, and has not recurred, then it is hemorrhoids or a small tear (fissure). Don't worry, it's harmless. Your abdominal pain is likely unrelated, and could be diet, stress, or any number of things. Your body makes 'noises' all the time, not meaning things you hear, but strange sensations and pains that are usually nothing at all. But if you are concerned, or see black, tarry blood 'IN' your stool, like as a component, then see your doctor.

Sorry but this is one instance that you'd should be reading our answers and should be at the doctors clinic right at this very moment! go please.

Red Flag! Red Flag!!!
this is a warning sign of cancer. Don't
f)%% around. Call and make that appt in the morning first thing. It doesn't mean you do have cancer, but go and find out......please, before you end up with a colostomy like my father did.

my son had the symptons he also had blood dripping from his anus but these symptons would come & go he has just been diagnosed with chrons disease & anemia i do know if the blood is on the outer part of your stool & not mixed in it the blood is coming from lower down rather than up in your stomach so it is more likely coming from your large intestines or colon which could mean anything from anal fissures/polyps to meckels or chrons disease it is advisable to see your gp & he will refer you to a gastronologist
