Why is that people with diabetes urinate so much?!

your kidneys need to filter the excess sugar, it needs fluid so it pulls it from all over your body then the last step in the filter is when it expells the fluid. That's why they drink so much fluids also, haven't you notice that they drink frequently.
excess sugar in the body loads on kidneys -this way kidnys get fill up quick to dispose urine which is full of sugar and vit/minerals
Diabetics try to filter that excess amounts of sugar. By doing that they tend to drink more at which it cause them to urinate.
As stated above the body craves the water, soda, liquids. When I had my onset, I would sit up late at night just to keep drinking ice water.
