Swollen behind the earlobe?!
Question: right behind my left earlobe is very swollen, i had a friend take a picture for me and it looks like a pimple, or a boil, its very swollen and very painful if touched. i have tried everything i could think of from peroxide,alcohol, and cleaning it very well, please anyone?

Go see a doctor. If it looks like a pimple or boil it COULD BE staph. Don't scream because I don't know without seeing it. it could also be a bite from a red ant, a spider... but if it has been there longer than two days and has not changed in size it really could be staph--because staph is caused by bacteria seizing open areas...like cuts. You could also have an ingrown hair. There are glands (well, lymph nodes and such) but that doesn't move to the outside. So go see your doctor to be safe.
GO TO THE DR!!! You have a set of glands back there--do not wait. I'm not trying to scare you--but it is better to be too safe, than not safe enough. Good Luck and Take Care
