If it's a fat scar, then that's keloid and can only be treated using laser if you want it totally gone. Or you may use the topical medicine called CONTRACTUBEX. It's what doctors usually prescribe.. really effective.

try mederma

get medical help.

Keep neosporin on it with a cotton ball and a bandaid so that it will soak in and you wont rub it off. The neosporin will help the scar go away.

Vitamin E! You can buy them in capsules. Just bust them open with a small pin and apply to your scar twice daily. Within a month, you will notice it disapearing.
They also sell scar ointment, which is effeciant, but vitamin e might be more cost efficiant.

well don't play with it if it's fresh, i have one just like that, i swear, on my elbow, it's been two years and it's still there like a piece of skin! i'm used to it, it's not that ugly! i mean not for a guy!

There is a cream called Shea Butter and people use it to remove marks such as scars or stretch marks and it actually works you should try it.

You forgot to explain how big it is and how did you got it on the first place (burn, cut, illness and so on).

Some cream help fade small scars, but their main ingredient is said to cause cancer and are not safe for all skin types.
Lemons juice is a better alternative but avoid sun once used.

For big bloated scars you might need plastic surgery. But we can't tell from here.

Best thing I have ever used was called PreferOn. Its from the same company that makes that annoying Headon headache stuff "head on apply directly to the forehead" haha so annying but it works!. It goes on like chapstick and it works almost immediatly. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
