I always use lime and salt, but recently I discovered the best thing to use is Garlic. I just cut the garlic and rub it on it, it will get dry in a few hours and start vanishing by the next day. You can also keep the garlic on it for a little while.
Rubbing alcohol. Dab it on every hour or so. Works like a charm.
the fastest way is medical creme sorry!!
Baking powder soda
Lemon powder.
Both sting like a biotch, but drt it out for faster healing. My husband gets them all the time.

going through the same pain, after several home remedies, I went out and bought some Cly-Oxide (Carbamide Peroxide)
moms remedy, she always uses alcohol, dab w/ alcohol, break open sore by rubbing w/ swab dabbed in alcohol. repeat a few days to dry.
I used ice on... several times a day... and did work!!
install a red light or hire a crossing gaurd
i use over the counter medication call herplex i love it... it makes them go away in under 2 days i get them all the time and i got tired of them so i went to the parmasist and told him what i needed and thats what he told me i could get over the counter when i could afford the Rx that my doctor gave me if u go to the doctor they can give you the wonder medication for it the outside stuff doesn't work like people say like baking soda and alcohol in the time that medication does.. hope i helped<3
blistex really works for me. it treats the pain and numbs it. good luck =)
